Former Chiefs linebacker finds another unlikely NFL lifeline

The New York Jets made a number of moves on Tuesday as they enter preparations for perhaps the NFL's worst matchup in Week 4: a showdown with the 0-3 Miami Dolphins. As a winless team as well, the Jets are hoping some of the new additions can make a difference.

Not only did the Jets acquire cornerback Jarvis Brownlee Jr. in a trade with the Tennessee Titans, but they also signed a former Kansas City Chiefs linebacker to the practice squad with the addition of Ben Niemann, who takes Mark Robinson's spot after getting a promotion to the active roster.
