Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Sammy Watkins made local and national NFL headlines last week when an article detailing his beliefs on life and football published to Bleacher Report.
The article by Tyler Dunne (who was kind enough to join us for a lengthy interview on our podcast network) included Watkins having some mixed feelings about his usage last year with the Chiefs. Watkins exploded for 198 yards Week 1 but wouldn’t reach 100 yards again until the playoffs, when he in three games, he was the team’s leading receiver (288).
