Eagles emerge as 1.5-point favorite over Chiefs in Super Bowl LVII

Oddsmakers initially made Super Bowl LVII a tossup, but the Philadelphia Eagles emerged as the betting favorites over the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.

Caesars Sportsbook and other bookmakers opened the line on Super Bowl LVII at pick 'em Sunday night. Within 30 minutes of posting the line, the Eagles became 1.5-point favorites.

For now, the line is one of the smallest point spreads in Super Bowl history. Only four previous Super Bowls have had point spreads of less than two. No Super Bowl has ever kicked off with a consensus closing line of pick 'em, although some sportsbooks had Super Bowl XLIX between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks as a pick 'em.
