While you and I were likely spending an afternoon and/or evening with family and friends, DeMarcus Robinson made plans with a bit more excitement mixed in.
To celebrate Independence Day, we hope that you enjoyed time with those you love most while also enjoying a nice barbecue and a fun fireworks display. However, Robinson, a wide receiver for the Kansas City Chiefs, decided to make plans for the inner thrill seeker by getting a ride along in the skies with the legendary Blue Angels.
The Blue Angels are in Kansas City this holiday weekend for a public exhibition on July 6-7 at the Kansas City Air Show.
