At one point, near the midseason of 2016, Dee Ford looked like the next great pass rusher for the Kansas City Chiefs. From Art Still to Mike Bell, Derrick Thomas to Neil Smith, Eric Hicks to Jared Allen and Tamba Hali and Justin Houston, Ford could be next in a nice long line of productive sack artists in Kansas City. Then almost as quickly as he ascended the sack rankings, he fell off without a single sack to his name in the entire second half of the season.
Ford ended up with 10 total sacks in 2016, accumulating that total in nine games.
