The Kansas City Chiefs are linked with several players in rumors shortly before the NFL's trade deadline. It makes sense that they would be buyers given the clear needs at a couple of positions on the roster and their positiion as the league's reigning dynasty, having played in five of the last six Super Bowls.
According to team owner Clark Hunt, the Chiefs should also be expected to stay busy before the deadline because of the general manager's aggressiveness.
Hunt recently spoke on the record about a number of subjects, but when asked about the trade deadline, he referenced Brett Veach's posture around this time of year as a reason for fans to watch the transaction wire.
