Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Sammy Watkins was not seen on the practice field in St. Joseph on Wednesday as he deals with an illness, according to the Chiefs’ public relations department.
Defensive end Frank Clark, who missed practice on Tuesday, could be seen on the field without a helmet working off to the side. Chiefs PR said that Clark is “getting better.”
Four other Chiefs — wide receiver Gehrig Dieter, wide receiver Davon Grayson, defensive back Michael Hunter and H-back John Lovett — did not practice.
