By Sunday, well over 1,100 players are going to be released across all the NFL. Some will be put on injured reserve, while others will find a practice squad spot, but for most, week 4 of the preseason will be the last minutes of NFL football they ever play. For that reason, players across the league left everything they have on the field Thursday night, trying to secure a spot on a 53 man roster.
Many Kansas City Chiefs players were among those who played their heart out against the Green Bay Packers. For a team with a Super Bowl mindset, the bubble is small in Kansas City and spots available on the roster are few and far between.
