The Kansas City Chiefs have announced that the 29th edition of Red Friday will take place next Wednesday, September 9, leading up to the season opener against the Houston Texans on Thursday, September 10.
A release posted Tuesday noted that the celebration will feature Super Bowl championship branding throughout the city. Red Friday flag sales begin on Wednesday morning.
