Of course, this wasn’t an ordinary car.
This was a Chiefs-themed Corvette, or, as 12-year season ticket member Marty Bean, who rolled up in the vehicle, described it, a “Chiefs-vette.”
"I actually bought it from a friend of mine,” Marty said. “I saw him at a car show probably eight years ago in Illinois, and I love the Chiefs and I love the Corvettes, so I told him, 'I’ve got to have that car.'”
At the time, Marty’s friend was not willing to part with the vehicle, so each year, he kept pressing.
Finally, about a year and a half ago after years of haggling, they came to an agreement.
