The Kansas City Chiefs haven't experienced what they're going currently through in quite some time. They're 6-5 with their most likely path into the playoffs being as a wild card team. That is rare for this team in the Patrick Mahomes era considering they've won the AFC West every year he's been in the league so getting into the postseason as a wild card would be odd, to say the least.
Despite that 6-5 record after Week 12, the Chiefs do still have a path to not just a 10th straight division title but the two-seed as well, as crazy as that sounds.
