After addressing only defense on the second day of the 2025 NFL Draft, the Kansas City Chiefs bolstered their offense in the fourth round Saturday by selecting Utah State wide receiver Jalen Royals with the 133rd overall selection.
Shortly after the pick was announced, Royals and Chiefs’ West regional scout Greg Castillo took questions from the media.
Royals — who played the last three years with Utah State after transferring from Georgia Military College — cited his roots as a former running back in his approach to wide receiver, particularly with yards after the catch (YAC).
