Chiefs reportedly will sign safety Jeron Johnson

The Chiefs will sign veteran safety Jeron Johnson to a one-year deal, according to Ian Rappaport of NFL Network.

Johnson joined the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent from Boise State in 2011 and was a member of Seattle’s Super Bowl winning team for the 2013 season, although he didn’t play in the game because of an injury.

He played for Washington last season and was released in March.
