When the NFL schedule was released in mid-May, the Week 12 matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the reigning Super Bowl champion Los Angeles Rams was seen as one of the season’s biggest games — a likely repeat of the fireworks we saw during 2018’s Week 11 Monday Night Football contest in the Los Angeles Coliseum, in which the Rams defeated the Chiefs 54-51.
But with Week 12 now upon us, only one part of what we expected has remained true: Kansas City leads the AFC West (and the entire AFC) with an 8-2 record, while Los Angeles limps into GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium with 3-7 record that puts it at the bottom of the NFC West.
