Chiefs’ Laurent Duvernay-Tardif wants “M.D.” on his game jersey for ‘18 season

Chiefs starting right guard and soon-to-be doctor Laurent Duvernay-Tardif is currently over in Pyeongchang, South Korea, covering the Winter Olympics for Radio Canada.

In an interview with the Kansas City Star, Duvernay-Tardif said he is all set to finish his McGill University medical degree by the time the 2018 football season begins, and he is currently in talks with the NFL to have something to show for it.

“I want to put Duvernay-Tardif M.D. on my jersey,” Duvernay-Tarif said. “I’ve already started a conversation with the league office and they say that anything is possible.
