The 49ers did end up winning last Sunday on a game-winning field goal. But a former Chief certainly made things more interesting due to his results as a punt returner.
After three frustrating seasons, wide receiver Skyy Moore proved unable to stick with the Kansas City Chiefs into his fourth and final contractual season as the team traded him to the San Francisco 49ers just before final roster cuts in August.
Given how the 49ers were contending with a litany of wide receiver injuries from training camp until now, San Francisco as a landing spot for Moore made some sense.
