As the Kansas City Chiefs’ seventh training camp practice got underway at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph on Tuesday morning, three players were held out of practice for the first time: rookie linebacker Jeff Bassa (ankle sprain), safety Deon Bush (hamstring) and cornerback Eric Scott (hamstring).
They joined cornerback Kristian Fulton, tight end Jake Briningstool and cornerback Darius Rush, who also did not practice.
Fulton has missed all of training camp’s practice sessions, recovering from an offseason cleanup surgery to his knee. He remains on the Active/PUP (physically-unable-to-perform) list.
