Chiefs finalize plans for reduced capacity at Arrowhead Stadium home games

The Kansas City Chiefs announced Monday that they have finalized plans for a reduced capacity of approximately 22 percent of Arrowhead Stadium to kick off the 2020 season. That equates to nearly 17,000 fans for home games.

The team said that it approved health and safety protocols in consultation with The University of Kansas Health System.

Tickets for the Chiefs’ first three home games — against the Houston Texans, New England Patriots and Las Vegas Raiders — will go on sale to season ticket holders beginning a week from this writing, on Monday, August 24.
