Move over, Refrigerator Perry. There’s a new big-man touchdown record holder and his name is Dontari Poe.
On their second drive of the game Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs were faced with fourth and goal from the 1-yard line. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, knowing the San Diego Chargers were on their heels, went big — really big.
With the Chargers defense zeroed in on Chiefs’ running back Charcandrick West, the Chiefs instead handed the ball to Poe, a 346-pound nose tackle, who dove over the pile.
