The Kansas City Chiefs have long dominated the AFC West while the Denver Broncos, Los Angeles Chargers and Las Vegas Raiders fight for second-place. Although the Chiefs sputtered out of the gates this year, they are still the division champions until proven otherwise.
With Rashee Rice back in Week 7 against the Raiders, Kansas City practically sleepwalked to a 31-0 victory. This could have been even more lopsided had head coach Andy Reid not called off the dogs by the end of the third quarter.
Las Vegas is not entirely devoid of talent, but its inconsistency at the head coach and general manager positions has made life perilous for the franchise and fan base over the years.
