Quarterback Chad Henne has been added to the Kansas City Chiefs’ 53-man roster, the team announced on its official Twitter account on Saturday afternoon. The team also announced that defensive tackle Joey Ivie has been promoted to the 53-man roster.
In corresponding moves, offensive tackle Greg Senat was placed on injured reserve and rookie quarterback Kyle Shurmur was waived from the club. Senat was never active during his tenure with the Chiefs. Shurmur was elevated to the 53-man roster in late October due to Patrick Mahomes’ kneecap injury.
