Broncos, Seahawks players will not participate in voluntary offseason workouts

In separate statements released by the NFL Players Association (NFLPA) on Tuesday, players for both the Denver Broncos and Seattle Seahawks announced that they do not intend to participate in the voluntary workout portions of each team’s offseason program — which are scheduled to start on Monday. So far, there has been no such announcement from Kansas City Chiefs players.

Seahawks players released a longer statement with the same bottom line.

As the offseason has continued, the NFLPA has taken the position that in order to protect its members from the coronavirus pandemic, the league should continue with the virtual offseason they instituted during the early stages of the pandemic a year ago.
