One of the best things about analyst Todd McShay's tier rankings is they provide a general idea of what players might be available at certain areas of the draft.
McShay’s final tier rankings are not good news for the Kansas City Chiefs. He has only 22 players in his top three tiers, which includes all of those he believes are deserving to be drafted in the first round.
The Chiefs have the 28th pick, so unless one or more of the 22 players drops, the Chiefs will be taking someone who at least in McShay’s estimation is a second-round talent.
