The Arizona Cardinals released two players on Saturday that are familiar faces to one degree or another to Kansas City Chiefs fans.
The primary name to come across the transaction wire is cornerback David Amerson, a defensive back who spent the entire offseason and preseason with the Chiefs only to be let go as the Chiefs made final cuts and various roster moves. Amerson was signed on the cheap to a one-year free-agent deal after being let go by the Oakland Raiders, but Amerson failed to impress despite being given every opportunity to grab a starting role.
