Andy Reid cheers on the Royals

To show where Kansas City’s head is right now, a day after the Chiefs beat the Detroit Lions 45-10, coach Andy Reid spent much his day-after news conference talking about the Royals. The World Series champion Royals.

“Congratulations goes out to the Royals,’’ Reid said. “Phenomenal. You’re talking about the world champions. That’s an unbelievable feat. Their skipper, Ned Yost, the great job that he did of bringing that thing together. The Glass Family (ownership) for really putting the whole thing together. (General manager) Dayton Moore for bringing in all those players. What a great tribute. They showed great grit that last inning there, the last couple of innings.
