The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Tuesday evening that safety Eric Berry has been cleared to practice with the team on Wednesday and will meet with the media to discuss his health and football timeline. Berry was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in December.
As someone who has been around Eric Berry while covering the Chiefs, it is great to see a great guy receive such great news.
Whether it is in his hometown in Fairburn, Georgia, or his college town of Knoxville, Tennessee, or in Kansas City, where he plays professional football, Berry has been active in the community by organizing football camps and trying to bring young kids together to have a place to play football.
