With the 75th overall pick in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft, the Kansas City Chiefs have selected defensive tackle Derrick Nnadi out of Florida State.
Nnadi provides the Chiefs with a young nose tackle who can help stuff the run and comes with great experience. At 6’1, 317 lbs., he’s certainly quite large although not as big as a Dontari Poe type and he shouldn’t be thought of in quite that way. Nnadi was a third-team All-ACC player for the Seminoles last year with 56 tackles, 10 of them for a loss, and 3.5 sacks.
