2017 NFL Draft: Chiefs select Michigan WR Jehu Chesson

The Kansas City Chiefs have traded two of their three fifth round picks to the Minnesota Vikings in exchange for a fourth round pick and the chance to draft Michigan wide receiver Jehu Chesson.

Chesson drew rave reviews for his 2015 performance with the Wolverines with 50 catches for 764 yards and 9 touchdowns. He had 35 catches for 500 yards and 2 touchdowns this year for Michigan. NFL.com’s Mark Dulgerian writes:

Kansas City is banking on the 2015 version of Chesson who displayed the playmaking speed and ball skills that could find him in the Chiefs’ rotation early.
