2017 NFL Draft: Chiefs among teams at Missouri State pro day

The Kansas City Chiefs were one of 14 NFL teams checking out the prospective talent at Missouri State University on Wednesday. Most likely drawing interest was All-American linebacker Dylan Cole.

Cole had a reported 32 bench press reps (225 pounds) and a 40-yard dash time of 4.56 seconds. Those are impressive numbers for a guy coming off of a season where he had 141 total tackles, the leading tackler in all of FCS football. He had eight tackles for a loss, 3 forced fumbles and 2 interceptions.

According to MSU assistant coach Sean Coughlin, who helps coordinate MSU’s pro day each year, representatives from 14 NFL teams were in attendance, which matches the club’s 2011 Pro Day as Missouri State’s highest-attended showcase.
