The Chiefs earned the #2 seed in the AFC after beating the Chargers and getting a Dolphins win over the Patriots. Kansas City will be without rookie safety Juan Thornhill during the NFL Playoffs as he tore his ACL in the Chiefs Week 17 win over the Chargers. Mecole Hardman got better news after the Chiefs win as he was named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week after his 104-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.
The NFL released the 2020 opponents for all 32 teams. Kansas City’s home & away schedule has been announced. The Chiefs play the AFC East and the NFC South in 2020. The Chiefs 2020 schedule includes games against five 2019 playoff teams. Kansas City will play the Patriots and Texans at home while facing the Bills, Saints and Ravens on the road.
