Chiefs Rumors: 3 Reasons Why Kansas City Should Sign Dez Bryant

Kansas City Chiefs Rumors are heating up with NFL Free Agency just over a week away. The Chiefs aren’t expected to be major players with just over $13.7 million in projected cap space. Could signing veteran WR Dez Bryant be an option? Sammy Watkins and DeMarcus Robinson may not be back in 2020 and Dez is looking to return to the NFL after 2 seasons off. Chiefs Report host Harrison Graham explores this Chiefs Rumor & gives 3 reasons why the Chiefs should sign Dez Bryant.

The Chiefs don’t have a major need at wide receiver, but losing Sammy Watkins and DeMarcus Robinson could create a minor need. Cutting Watkins would save $14 million in cap space which would help Kansas City sign Chris Jones. Dez Bryant will likely cost the NFL league minimum and be a low-risk deal for the Chiefs. If Dez is healthy, he could offer the Chiefs’ offense a different wrinkle with his red zone ability.
