Chiefs Free Agency Rumors are heating up as Chris Jones is set to get a lot of attention from Kansas City and several other teams. Mike Pennel is another Chiefs’ DT set for free agency and he would like to return to Kansas City. Can the Chiefs afford to keep him with Jones set to get paid and Patrick Mahomes due for a contract extension? Mike Pennel is certainly worth bringing back to Kansas City if they can keep him at the right price. He was excellent against the run and helped the Chiefs shut down Derrick Henry in the playoffs. But, the Chiefs also have 2 members of their secondary hitting the open market: Bashaud Breeland and Kendall Fuller. Harrison believes the Chiefs need to take a hard look at both of these players and try to sign them this offseason. Kansas City may have to choose one when it’s all said and done.
