The Jacksonville Jaguars are the youngest team in the NFL and nowhere is that more evident than in the receiving corps. After drafting Rashad Greene in the 5th round this year, the Jaguars top 4 receivers have a combined 3 years of experience in the league.
General manager David Caldwell recognized the inexperience in the passing game, so he targeted veterans Julius Thomas and Randall Cobb in free agency. Caldwell managed to snag Thomas but missed out on Cobb.
Despite not landing a veteran receiver in free agency, Caldwell still decided to let Cecil Shorts walk away in free agency.
