Sports are not happening at an alarming rate, folks.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, the NBA cancelled their season on a dime as did the XFL. The NHL suspended play almost immediately, as did MLS and college sports. Heck, MLB didn’t even get to Opening Day.
But the NFL has pressed on with what they could — free agency went off without a hitch and the 2020 NFL Draft is still scheduled to happen even if it’s done remotely.
Could the season be in jeopardy? The league has already modified several rules when it comes to travel and has asked teams to work from home.
