What is the Jacksonville Jaguars’ best-case scenario in 2020?

The Jacksonville Jaguars are entering Year 8 of their rebuild under general manager Dave Caldwell and things do not look promising for the 2020 NFL season.

Gardner Minshew, while talented, is still largely a question mark at quarterback. The run defense is still suspect. The most talented player is a training camp holdout. The offense has one legitimate superstar in D.J. Chark. The tight ends room is a patchwork group with Tyler Eifert leading the charge.

Do not expect a playoff run this year.

ESPN’s Mike DiRocco was tasked with explaining the floor and ceiling for this year’s roster and he agrees — it’ll likely finish somewhere in the neighborhood of five or six wins.
