There weren’t many expectations lying on Jacksonville this week coming off of a Bye week and starting the season at 1-6. But rookie quarterback Jake Luton was determined to make an impact in his NFL debut, and he did just that.
Despite losing 27-25 to the Houston Texans, Luton certainly sparked a cultural change for the Jaguars offense. He kept the offense flowing from beginning to end and did exceptionally well for not having a preseason to prepare and adjust to the speed of the game.
