The Jacksonville Jaguars continue to trim down their roster ahead of Saturday’s cut down deadline, releasing two more players on Friday morning according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
The team has released defensive back Saivion Smith and wide receiver Terrelle Pryor, neither of which are a surprise. Smith never seemed to really make an impact at cornerback, a position with a log jam of talented players. I’ll be honest and admit I forgot he was on the roster.
As for Pryor, the move isn’t a surprise at all considering he’s been injured nearly the whole time he’s been with the Jaguars and does not play special teams.
