Telvin Smith throws out first pitch at charity softball game

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker Telvin Smith teamed up with the Northeast Florida Healthy Start Coalition, Thursday, to help raise awareness and promote the organization's fatherhood education program.

Smith threw out the first pitch, signed autographs and took pictures at the organization's sixth annual "Rounds at the Grounds," charity softball game, held at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville, before the Jacksonville Suns took on the Montgomery Biscuits.

The event consisted of local celebrities and medical professionals playing in a softball game with the goal of raising funds and awareness for the importance of reducing the area's high infant mortality rate and improving the health of women, children and families in Northeast Florida.
