Philadelphia is the town where they booed Santa Claus and cheered Tim Tebow.
The most notable thing about Tebow’s first game in two years Sunday in Philadelphia was the standing ovation he got from the fans. They also they chanted his name. It showed that Tebowmania is alive and well in Philadelphia, which is noted for being a tough place to play. Tebow also got good reviews from coach Chip Kelly.
Tebow’s stats weren’t that impressive as he completed six of 12 passes for 69 yards in the team’s 36-10 rout of Indianapolis. He also ran four times for 15 yards, including a seven-yard touchdown run.
