Sunday NFL Notes: Slow starts for at least three offenses

Around the AFC • Not a pretty debut for Cleveland (shocking, we know). Four Browns quarterbacks combined to complete only 11 of 23 passes for 119 yards. After starting its game at Green Bay with a Robert Griffin III 49-yard pass to Terrell Pryor, Cleveland fumbled a snap, threw an interception, fumbled a free kick (after a safety) and had a touchdown nullified because Josh McCown crossed the line of scrimmage before passing … all in the first half. The Packers won 17-11 despite sitting eight starters.
