JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Jaguars plan on heading to Mobile, Ala. with a defensive coordinator in place.
A source tells First Coast News that the team "expects" the coordinator to be in place before the staff leaves for its third trip to coach the Reese's Senior Bowl.
The Jaguars have interviewed a handful of candidates since firing former defensive coordinator Bob Babich earlier this month. Reports have linked the opening to Atlanta Falcons secondary coach Marquand Manuel, Dallas Cowboys secondary coach Jerome Henderson, new Philadelphia Eagles defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz and others over the past weeks.
