Slowing Green Bay QB Aaron Rodgers? It starts before the snap for Jaguars

Describing him as a “threat,” Jaguars nose tackle Roy Miller said he is someone capable of unleashing a big play on any occasion.

Calling him “trouble,” defensive end Tyson Alualu pointed out that he can make even the sharpest opposing players look silly on the field.

But defensive end Dante Fowler had the bluntest assessment of Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

“He’s the best QB in the game, simple,” Fowler said. “You really can’t say anything else about it.”

With an array of hard counts, an uncanny ability to avoid pass-rushers in the pocket while finding open receivers downfield and a strong, accurate arm capable of making any throw necessary, the former NFL MVP will provide Fowler and a revamped Jaguars defense with perhaps their biggest challenge of the season Sunday.
