The Oakland Raiders have released wide receiver Antonio Brown after a week that included getting in a fight with his general manager and (illegally?) recording head coach Jon Gruden on what appeared to be a private phone call.
Brown isn’t subject to waivers so he becomes an unrestricted free agent at 4:01pm EST on Saturday and can sign with any team he wants to.
Should the Jacksonville Jaguars try and sign him?
Brown is a playmaker and one of the most gifted wide receivers in the NFL. The Jaguars offense is — to put it mildly — devoid of playmakers and anyone you’d call the best at what they do.
