With only a few days left until the entire team reports for training camp, the Jacksonville Jaguars made some temporary roster moves. The team placed veteran defensive tackle Sen’Derrick Marks and rookie free safety James Sample on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list.
This move doesn’t mean much for the time being, as the two players still count against the 90-man roster limit that’s currently enforced at this point of the offseason. Both players are eligible to come off the list anytime before the final roster cuts, when the players will subsequently have to sit out the first 6 games of the regular season if they remain on the list.
