JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --- Heading into the NFL Draft, it was easy to overlook an oversized safety from a college football program in its infancy.
University of North Carolina-Charlotte defensive back Desmond Cooper came into the offseason not expecting much, but in just a few short months, he has gone from a Jaguars fan to one of the team's players.
"Really, if I could put it into words I would, but it's tough to put it into words because there is so much joy, excitement and pride just wearing the Jags logo," said Cooper.
"So many people were up-and-down with the team, because they had their rough seasons, they've had their good seasons, but through the thick and thin I've been with them the whole time.
