Robinson becomes first Jaguars WR with 1,000 receiving yards since 2005

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Allen Robinson made history on Sunday against the Tennessee Titans.

The second-year receiver caught a 14-yard pass from quarterback Blake Bortles in the third quarter of the AFC South showdown that put him over the 1,000-yard mark. He is the first to reach the mark for the Jaguars since wide receiver Jimmy Smith in 2005.

At the time the catch, Robinson had collected fives catches for 84 yards in the game. He needed 73 receiving yards to reach the milestone heading into the contest.

Not content with just surpassing 1,000 receiving yards, Robinson went off after the big catch.
