JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The NFL recently denied Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Justin Blackmon reinstatement from his indefinite suspension, according to multiple reports.
Blackmon was suspended indefinitely on Nov. 1, 2013 and has not appeared in a game ever since. The former fifth overall pick was arrested for marijuana possession last year while serving the suspension, which likely led the NFL to deny his return to the league.
For all intents and purposes, the Jaguars have essentially moved on from the wide receiver. The team drafted Rashad Greene and Neal Sterling this month and has spent a lot of money on its tight end group to make up for Blackmon's production.
