Report: Tony Boselli falls short of Hall of Fame nod

For the third consecutive year the bid to get the first ever Jacksonville Jaguar into the Pro Football Hall of Fame fell just short, as former Jaguars offensive tackle Tony Boselli failed to make it into the distinguished group of five modern era inductees voted on by the Hall of Fame selection committee, according to multiple reports.

Despite another week of multiple writers who are a part of the selection process and former players like Anthony Munoz, John Hannah, and John Randle— who themselves have been inducted, vocalizing their support for Boselli’s candidacy, the committee was unswayed enough to once again keep him from getting a bronze bust in Canton, and donning the prestigious gold jacket at the Hall of Fame induction ceremony this August.
