Record-setting FSU receiver Rashad Greene confident he can be productive in NFL

TALLAHASSEE | Unlikely to be a first-round draft pick, Florida State receiver Rashad Greene wants to be this year’s version of Jordan Matthews, Allen Robinson and Jarvis Landry.

That trio went in 2014 in the second round to Philadelphia, the Jaguars and Miami, respectively, and combined for 199 catches.

His record-setting career with the Seminoles complete (270 catches for 3,830 yards), Greene wants to be similarly productive as a rookie.

“I’m very confident I can,” he said last month after Florida State’s pro day.

Could the Jaguars be a fit?

Greene was among 20 prospects who visited the Jaguars last week.
