JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Paul Posluszny and the Jaguars have extended their initial pact that was signed in 2011.
The team signed Posluszny to a one-year extension on Wednesday night, according to FOX Sports Radio host Alex Marvez.
The veteran linebacker signed a six-year, $42 million contract with the Jaguars as a free agent during the 2011 offseason. The added year will now put "Pos" under contract until 2017.
Set to turn 31 in October, Posluszny has played eight seasons with the Bills and Jaguars. He was initially a second round pick of the Bills back in 2007.
